Children

Children 2 and under are free to enter the fairgrounds with a paying adult.
Carnival height requirements start at 30 inches for some rides and all riders must purchase tickets/arm band to ride. Accompanying adults must also purchase tickets/arm band to ride with the child. Due to rider safety, some rides may not be accessible to all riders. All ride safety decisions are made in ordinance with each ride’s posted safety requirements and by the ride operator.

Top Picks for small children include: the Petting Barn, Circus, Farmer For A Day in the Ag Building, viewing the many exhibits, and a quick stroll through Sorghum Valley

Livestock

Livestock trailer entry and parking is accessible through the “Pass Only” gate located east of the main gate. Due to the location of the Tyson Show Arena, please use caution when moving livestock trailers to and from the parking area. Once unloaded, you will be directed to the livestock exhibitor parking area.

Permitted/Non-Permitted Items

No pets are allowed on the grounds except for service animals and animals entering for competition. No pets are allowed on the grounds except for service animals and animals entering for competition.

No weapons, drugs, or outside alcohol allowed on the fairgrounds. All entry into the fairgrounds is subject to screening by our gate attendants and those with non-permitted items will not be allowed into the fairgrounds.

Parking

All parking is free and shuttle service is provided from our general parking lots.
There are multiple general parking options available. Parking lane markers are present to help find your car after a night at the fair. Our parking shuttles are scheduled to run nightly to bring you right to the main gate – just look for the tractor! For a map of parking locations, visit the Parking page.
Drop-off and pick-up is available in the designated drop-off location at the main entrance gate.

Safety

Due to the concern for our patrons’ safety, 24/7 security is on-site during the event with a combination of both private security contractors and public law enforcement. Fire and EMS service is also available on the grounds during the event. All entry into the fairgrounds is subject to screening by our gate attendants and any individuals or groups conducting unruly behavior will be removed from the property.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased online through our official box office site or on location during the event at any of our ticket windows. Season passes can be purchased in person prior to the fair by visiting our fair office.
Tickets are available to purchase at the gate, however purchasing your ticket in advance ensures faster entry into the event.
We accept cash, credit, and debit cards at the gate. ATMs are also located on the grounds.
Senior Citizens Day is Thursday, September 7 and includes free admission for seniors from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
