Century Farms

The Tennessee Century Farms Program, created in 1975 by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture as part of our nation’s bicentennial celebration, recognizes and documents Tennessee's agricultural heritage. The program has been administered by the MTSU Center for Historic Preservation since 1986.

Currently there are 37 registered Century Farms in Dyer County. To qualify, these farms must have been in the family continuously for 100 years or more.
